Privacy policy

1. Data we process
Browsing Faro requires no account, no registration and no personal information. Faro only processes personal data if you actively choose to receive alerts (browser notifications or email), and only to deliver those alerts. We never sell or share your data for advertising.
2. Notifications and email alerts
If you enable browser notifications, we store your browser's push subscription — a technical endpoint identifier and its encryption keys — together with the market you selected, solely to send you new-deal alerts. Delivery is handled by your browser's push service (Google, Mozilla or Apple, depending on your browser), which processes the message under its own privacy policy. If you subscribe by email, we store your email address and chosen departure airports to send those alerts. You can withdraw consent at any time — turn notifications off via the bell or your browser settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any email — which deletes the corresponding subscription.
3. Cookies and local storage
Faro sets only the technical cookies needed for the site to function and uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences (such as your home airport and whether you dismissed the notification prompt). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
4. Affiliate links
Booking links on Faro redirect to partner booking platforms. Those platforms apply their own privacy policy once you leave Faro. Faro receives a commission on bookings made, at no extra cost to you.
5. Browsing data
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited) are kept by the host for a limited time for security and diagnostic purposes.
6. Retention and your rights
Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or they become invalid, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security only. You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time — contact us using the details below.
